SCF and MarViva will join efforts with institutional authorities, scientific experts, and coastal community stakeholders in Greater Gulf of Chiriquí (GGCh), Panama, in contribution to ocean conservation and fisheries sustainability. The project will inform participatory planning, promotion of improved regulations, and support to voluntary and/or legal implementation of measures to reduce fishing impacts on marine habitats and migratory species, with emphasis on reducing shark mortality.
