The team project aims to conserve the reef manta in Dongunab Bay and Makkawar Island. This will involve surveying of the known aggregation sites in Dongunab Bay and Maukkawar Islands and adopt photo ID that will help in identifying the species and gain insight into the movements of the reef manta ray. The team will also survey the two lagoons in Dongunab Bay to investigate the potential breeding or nursery areas in these lagoons.
