A grant to Forever Costa Rica will support MigraMar and PACIFICO efforts to begin establishing a “Swimway” between marine protected areas (MPAs) in the Galapagos and Cocos Islands to protect sharks, turtles and other marine wildlife that migrate between the two island groups. This would be the first transboundary “swimway” in the Eastern Tropical Pacific (ETP).
